We are pleased to announce the first release of STEETCH, a tool developed as part of the EECONE project to seamlessly integrate environmental assessment in the traditional development workflow of power electronic systems.

With STEETCH designers can:

• Evaluate the Environmental impact of their Power Electronic systems quickly and easily
• Build and compare multiple options
• Access a Knowledge Base of resources on sustainable power electronics topics

Following its release, STEETCH was introduced et the EMEC workshop during the 2026 DATE conference.

Please note that STEETCH is still under active development. Current efforts are focused on improving the tool based on user feedback and expanding the Knowledge Base.
